Como sempre o The Game Awards foi um pouco arrastado e o jogo do ano indo para Sekiro: Shadow Die Twice surpreendeu, creio esse jogo ganhou mais pelo conjunto da obra do Hidetaka Miyazaki com os jogos da franquia Souls.

No fim, Death Stranding ficou com 3 prêmios, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice levou 2 prêmios, Control e Super Smash Bros. Ultimate ficaram com um prêmio cada. The Outet Worlds ficou a ver navios espaciais.
